Mustard Seed Senior Transportation

The Mustard Seed Project is a grassroots community agency serving Key Peninsula. The work of the project is to build an elder-friendly community by assuring that a full continuum of services and programs is available and affordable to people living on the Key Peninsula. The vision is to allow individuals to “age in place” with dignity, respect, self-determination and safety.

The Mustard Seed Project, in partnership with Catholic Community Service’s Volunteer Chore Services, has recruited local Key Peninsula volunteer drivers to serve local seniors, disabled adults, and others in need of transportation. Volunteer Chore Services handles background checks and reimbursement for mileage and expenses, while the Mustard Seed Project coordinates driver scheduling and dispatch.

Contact information: To find out if you qualify for transportation services through the Mustard Seed Project, or if you are interested in being a volunteer driver, please contact Mary Morris, the Transportation Coordinator at 253-884-2216.
